The Huhnes in court

Christopher Huhne MP (Lib Dem) and his ex-wife Vasiliki "Vicky" Pryce have been in court this week over the allegation of his speeding and her taking the points. Last this blog heard they were both pleading not-guilty; her by reason of "spousal coercion", which does not sound good for him. Huhne is the first Cabinet minister in British history to resign as a consequence of criminal proceedings.

There seems to have been no coverage of the trial and the Southwark Crown Court website indicates that "case management" is still in progress. Still, it would be nice if the mainstream media could bestir itself to do some actual reporting. They were quick enough to report the adjournment in October last year.

Here is a picture of Mr Huhne not actually driving a car...

"Hello Vicky!"
